Fallow deer prefer warm and leafy forests, but in some cases will occupy mixed-tree forests. Access to an agricultural field is essential so it can get a variety of food.

Food

The fallow deer’s food consists mainly of grass, herbs, sweet corn, dates, berries, and agricultural crops.

Predators

Fallow deer avoid areas with lynx, bear, and wolf, as life together would not be happy.
